Background
In 1972, Sue Kawalerski took a photo of Bob Dylan at the Mariposa Folk Festival. The slide was placed in an envelope never to see the light of day for nearly 40 years. Upon its rediscovery, a public interest developed to use the iconic photo
on book jackets, magazine covers and inside magazine spreads.
